Metamask Card Experience
MetaMask introduced the MetaMask Card as a new way for users to spend crypto directly in everyday transactions. During Devconnect in Buenos Aires, the team invited selected creators to participate in the MetaMask Card Experience, an interactive campaign designed to introduce the product through community engagement.
My focus was to translate the experience into a campaign that would give my community a real glimpse of the MetaMask ecosystem while educating them about how the card works.

Challenge
The MetaMask Card represents a shift from using crypto purely for trading or holding to spending it in everyday contexts. While the product concept was exciting, most users had never interacted with it before.
The challenge was to turn a limited number of MetaMask “experience chips” into a campaign that could both engage the community and communicate the product’s value in a meaningful way.
Results
The campaign generated strong engagement within the community as participants interacted with the challenges and followed the experience in real time.
Two of the campaign posts were amplified by MetaMask through retweets, expanding the reach of the activation beyond my immediate audience.
The campaign also created opportunities for deeper conversations around the product, including an interview with an early MetaMask Card user who shared their real-world experience with the tool.
The success of the activation led to an invitation to MetaMask’s exclusive Asado experience, where I joined the team and other participants for further discussions around the product and the ecosystem.

Community Participation

Process
At the event, participants received MetaMask chips that unlocked different rewards, including stablecoin credits, exclusive event access, and branded merchandise.
Instead of distributing them passively, I designed an interactive campaign that encouraged community participation. Members of my community could earn the chips by engaging with challenges and activities connected to the MetaMask experience.
One activation invited people attending Devconnect to meet me at La Rural and say “GMetamask” to claim a chip. Other community challenges were designed to spark conversations and participation around the campaign.
This approach transformed the experience from a simple giveaway into a shared moment between the community and the product.

Conclusion
Most creators at the activation posted about the chips. I built a campaign around them. MetaMask recognized that by amplifying my posts and inviting me to their Asado experience. This project shows I don't just document experiences, I design engagement systems around them.
