Roxom

Roxom is a Bitcoin-focused financial platform building infrastructure around BTC markets. At Devconnect '25, Web3MarketingHackathon hosted a live marketing competition with Roxom as one of the case studies. The goal was to design a campaign approach that could help Roxom reach audiences beyond their immediate network.

Challenge

Roxom's core idea was bold but hard to communicate simply. RoxomTV had quality content and strong guests, but no mechanism to convert passive viewers into active platform users. We needed to design a system that turned the show into a growth engine in 24 hours.

Results

The campaign strategy helped clarify how Roxom’s vision could be communicated more effectively to Bitcoin-focused audiences.

The approach was recognized during the hackathon as the winning marketing strategy, standing out for its focus on narrative clarity and ecosystem-driven distribution.

Following the presentation, the Roxom team invited us for follow-up discussions to explore how elements of the strategy could inform future campaigns, and the relationship has remained open since.

Process

We designed Roxom Collectives, a gamified participation layer that turned RoxomTV from a broadcast into an interactive acquisition funnel.

The strategy had four components:

  • Interactive Streams with live predictions requiring platform sign-in

  • A Community Quest System building habit through challenges and rewards,

  • Clip-to-Earn distribution turning viewers into organic content creators across X, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

  • A mapped conversion funnel: Watch → Engage → Sign Up → Play → Belong.

The strategy won first place. Following the hackathon, we were invited by the Roxom team for a follow-up discussion, and elements of the strategy influenced their approach to community-driven growth.

Conclusion

A 24-hour hackathon is a pressure test, not just of ideas, but of how you think under constraints. We won because we didn't design a campaign. We designed a system. Roxom saw the difference, and elements of the strategy went from a pitch deck into their actual growth playbook
